PREAMBLE
LITTLE ANGELS PUBLIC SCHOOL as it is known today, was established in 1995. It started as a Kindergarten with 12 children and over the years, it has expanded to cover Lower Primary, Higher Primary and High School. The present strength of LAPS is nearly 1000 children with nearly 50 staff supporting the Institution. The school is recognized by the government of Karnataka and adopts the Karnataka state syllabus.
The school is managed by a Governing body consisting of 5 members who have formed the Little Angels Education Trust. The Institution is established to give a quality education to the children of the surrounding areas who basically come from the middle and lower middle class sections of the society. It is essentially based on philanthropic principles, serves all strata of society and supports many needy and deserving children.
VISION
At Little Angels, we believe education to be an awakening call rather than a transference of knowledge. We believe that education should bring out the best change in every child and hence we believe in providing an environment full of challenges and opportunities that will match his / her potentialities.
We believe that education has to respond to the global needs and expectations. Keeping in view the new frontiers of knowledge that has opened up due to the impact of science, information & technology, we aim to equip our children with knowledge and skill to use this flood of information intelligently. We believe that children’s attitudes and approach to life must be rooted in Indian culture and Indian values of which we are very proud. We seek a whole hearted co-operation of parents and consider them as partners in our mission of creating a just and humane society.
